Refurbishment and upgrade of the Legislative Assembly chamber is an impressive example of a quality refurbishment under strict heritage guidelines. A significant element was the total reconstruction of the members seating to the original horseshoe seating of the 1850's and the integration of the a sub-floor airconditioning  system feeding climate controlled air into the chamber for the first time since 1850's. This project won both MBAV and AIB national award for excellence in building,  

Construction of a seven storey office building in South Yarra. Due to tight space constraints, the building houses 3 ½ levels of split level underground car parking with access from Yarra Street. The building was designed to take maximum advantage of natural daylight and boasts large wrap around terraces and outdoor spaces. The building has achieved a 4.5 Star (Green Star) rating with internal Fitouts achieving Six Star (Green Star) ratings.

Walton Construction was engaged on a negotiated basis to carry out the fitout of the new floor and complete refurbishment of their existing space. Work commenced on the upper floor whilst Downer EDI continued its business operation on the floor below. Due to further growth, construction of additional offices which involved modifications to existing office joinery and workstations, and the upgrade of electrical and mechanical services were carried out.

Work was carried out over three floors including medical consulting suites, extension to ward, construction of new research laboratory with existing basement car park and internal stairs connecting levels.

Over three levels within an existing building, the project involved extensive detailing to the ceilings, lighting, joinery and flooring. Numerous glass front offices with solid sliding doors as well as the installation of 150 workstations, kitchens, boardrooms, meeting rooms and communication room.
