Walton Construction was appointed to undertake the construction of a new shopping complex at Collingwood Park. Collingwood Park Marketplace is an exciting neighborhood centre that is owned developed by Woolworth’s. The centre offers a 3,200sqm full line Woolworth’s Supermarket and 1,165sqm of specialty retail shops. The centre offers a convenient shopping experience with a quality mix of tenants. Collingwood Park Marketplace’s high grade design and accessible car parking (approximately 332 dedicated parks) ensures the centre serves as a retail hub for the local community.

The Expressive Arts building includes two art studios and gallery, film and recording studios with dark room and editing facilities, sound proof music classrooms, specialist drama theatre with seating for 160 patrons. The new building was structurally connected to an existing building with linking corridors.

Construction of a new 36 bed residential aged care facility and associated clinical areas consisting of consulting suites, support services, associated site infrastructure, civil and landscaping works. Family and sitting areas are positioned in each of the two wings to offer a quiet space for families to gather. Grey water recycling system provides ample water for non-drinking purposes. 

Single storey commercial building for community based radio broadcasting. Consisting of two studios, production room, reception, meeting room, managerial office and staff amenities.

Walton Qld has completed over 30 ALDI Stores within Queensland and Northern New South Wales. This includes new stand alone structures and associated fitout, fitouts within existing shopping centres, and extension and fitout within a retail precinct. Walton works closely with the ALDI Stores and specialist nominated subcontractors to deliver stores on time to take advantage of peak trading periods.
